Single user licence: You may install and use one copy of the software product, or in its place, any prior version, on a single computer. You may also store or install a copy of the software product on a storage device, such as a network server, used only to install or run the software product on your other computers over an internal network; however, you must acquire and dedicate a licence for each separate computer on which the software product is installed or run from the storage device. A licence for the software product may not be shared or used concurrently on different computers. The licence is valid for 3 years. At expiry the licence may be renewed at a discount to the full price.
Multi-user site licence: A site licence permits use of multiple copies of the software product by the single entity that holds the licence, at the single entity’s sites. You may make the number of copies of the software product authorised by the licence agreement and you may use each copy at the licensed sites in the manner specified for single users above. The single entity is the licensed organisation, such as a university department. The software may be copied by (i) the salaried employees of the organisation, or (ii) students under direct supervision of such employees at the organisation’s sites (including field sites) or at home, but not for use by contractors or students elsewhere, and only provided that the number of copies does not exceed the number permitted by the licence. The licence is valid for 3 years. At expiry the licence may be renewed at a discount to the full price.
Student licence: Available for students, normally defined as someone having a current student identity card. State if you are a student buying for yourself when ordering. A student licence covers your own use as a student and does not extend to use by others. It is only available for the standard version of the software, not the plus version and is not upgradeable to an alternative licence. The software supplied is the full standard version. The licence is valid for 6 years but is non-renewable. To continue use after 6 years you should purchase a regular single user or site licence. |
